Hello @lizbee78,

Welcome to Connect, and thank you for joining this conversation with such great information.
Although diagnosed with different conditions, @ptfitzy, @michellecrcrn, @tessie, @decosmo, @windwalker, @jillnc, @irene5, @mcpucho, @doron, have all discussed the many benefits of probiotics as well.

@lizbee78, did you have any questions about EPI?

Sorry, 25 years!

Hello @vwerner,

If you would like to make an appointment at Mayo Clinic, the contact information for Minnesota, Arizona and Florida can be found here http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63.
Here's a link to Mayo Clinic's Gastroenterology department as well: http://mayocl.in/2mZtoGR. When you call any of the three locations, they will ask questions to help direct you to the best specialist.

@vwerner, I see that you posted about SIBO a while ago, and although it seems you've not found much relief, do you have any suggestions or tips for other members in this discussion?

Welcome back @melaniewa! A sincere thank you for all the support, information, and insight that you and @lizbee78 are offering.
It's obviously stressful, worrisome to have all these symptoms, but it seems to be a relief to at least get a firm diagnosis, so that you can get on the right treatment path.

@jacque6977, I can see that you are doing everything to help your wife, and I would really encourage you to view these discussions about chronic nausea; some of these are older conversations, but feel free to go through them, tag members, and join in.

I'd also like to tag @concernedmtnmom, who wrote about her daughter's symptoms in a past discussion, and I sincerely hope she returns with some insight for you.

It's the toast!!! She could have Celaic but with all the tests that is probably the first thing they tested for but she could have carbohydrate interlorance. Have her cut out all grain products and after a week see if she feels better. Experiment cutting out food groups, diary, fruit, wheat, one week at a time. It took me years of meds and surgery until I figured out I couldn't eat fruit!

<br><br><br><br><br>So true. I was sick for years until I learned that gluten was my enemy. My <br>throat and lungs would fill with mucous and I would cough for hours after eating <br>anything gluten. I kind of knew that instinctively because as a child; I would <br>not eat my birthday cake, ever. nor cookies, pie, etc.<br> <br><br>

I had breath test too with negative results. They did find an ulcer but I don't think that's my only problem. What did you do to get relief? Thankyou

Can you share the name of your GI physician you saw at Mayo MN?

Sure. Dr. Andres J. Acosta Cardenas.

Thank you!
