Anyone else's teeth turning or turned orange
Today I glanced in rear view mirror before I put my sunglasses on and noticed my teeth are turning orange.
Did anyone else develop a dry cough?
Feet starting to feel weird. I can't pinpoint it a burning feeling or swelling.
I will take off my shoes and wiggle my toes and they feel very stiff.
I started antibiotics May 14
Side effects starting to kick in?
My thyroid medicine has been changed to a higher dose, white blood cells very low.
Today my wbc even lower and thyroid numbers higher.

My teeth started turning orange right away.
I was only on meds for about 2 months.
After blood work twice ID doctor stopped the meds.
Teeth still orange.
I've also noticed after brushing if I run my tongue across my teeth it doesn't feel as though I brushed.
Maybe from the sodium chloride and albuterol.
No, mine didn't turn orange and neither did my contact lenses, but my pee was definitely bright orange. However I was on the three day per week therapy. Every day may be different.
I’m on 3 days too and my urine went back to normal on the off days…. My weekend reprieve. Tomorrow it will be deep orange again. Thanks for responding.
Ok, so an update for anyone interested. My dental hygienist gave me three ideas to help with the staining between professional cleanings: 1) get and use an electric toothbrush (her preference, Oral B, as the shape of the head can get in between teeth better than other brands), 2) rinse with hydrogen peroxide, and 3) use baking soda 2-3 a week as a paste when brushing (but no more as it is quite abrasive).
I got the Oral B electric tooth brush and I think it is making the biggest difference. I have been a manual brusher most my life. Many, many years ago when electric toothbrushes first became “big”, I got a Sonicare and I absolutely hated the vibration. It was such an issue for me my dentist at the time instructed me to go back to my manual toothbrush as I was not doing a good job cleaning with the electric. Well, I still HATE the vibration, but I am putting up with it because I hate pirate teeth more. Where the staining is the worst, in the back, I hold it there for double or triple the prescribed time.
My hygienist said to do the hydrogen peroxide straight, but the internet was a hard “no” on this (will burn). The bottle says to cut 50/50 with water, I found even that to be too strong for my mouth tissue. I do a 25/75 ratio (25 HP, 75 H2O), once a day after my evening teeth cleaning. I can’t tell if this is helping or not.
The baking soda I have only tried a few times. I don’t like the taste and I can’t tell whether it makes a difference. The internet does advise caution when using baking soda to clean teeth due to abrasiveness so I have largely just stuck to my tooth paste.
Lastly, based on an old post I found here, where someone mentioned they bought dental tools off Amazon, I did the same. I am not recommending this generally as I think it takes a certain person to be comfortable using dental tools on themselves, but with that said, I think the dental tools have been hugely helpful as I can scrap off the staining in the worst places before it really sets in.
Between the electric tooth brush and the dental tools that allow me to really target the gum line and areas between teeth, I have made a huge improvement. It’s a constant upkeep, I cannot snooze a day on my high level approach, but hopefully by knocking down the staining as soon as it appears I will avoid any significant permanente staining. Fingers crossed.
Also, just to clarify, my teeth are not turning orange. The way the staining works for me, as I have described before, is that it is in the biofilm right at the gum line and comes up between the teeth. Like coffee or tea stains on SUPER BLAST! If your teeth staining is working differently, and what we all know by this point is that we are all different in our responses to both the disease and treatment, my methods may not work for you.
Although my teeth look much better than they did a month ago, I am still sticking with monthly professional cleanings for now just to make sure I stay on top of this.
Also, FYI, I am on daily Big 3.
