Severe chronic back pain
Severe chronic back pain…I’ve suffered for years and have been told different things about my back pain, I was told taking weight off would help ive last 50 pounds and no relief if anything it’s getting worse. I’m having a hard time doing basic things without being in severe pain. I’ve done massage Acupuncture physical therapy serval times. Now I’m just frustrated about even going to the doctor cause nothing changes. It hurts to even walk and my big toes on both feet are numb. What should I do I’m losing hope and I don’t know how much more pain I can handle. Please help

It's definitely not for everyone. What's good for you may not be a good fit for someone else. I myself speak from experience. I had a stimulator trial and even met with a nurse from Boston Scientific. I had my pain doc take it out within the trial period. I've done all the things except pain rehabilitation which Cleveland Clinic referred me. I've done lifestyle changes over the past 15 years. Had a surgery and will need to revisit; Really that's my only option unless a new technique comes about.
God bless! I hope all goes well! Attitude is EVERYTHING….& prayers! ….

Ha Ha Ha --Loriesco I feel like I am looking in the mirror when I read your story--I am a 69 Year old male dealing with this shit for 30 + years --the struggle has take up the part of my life that was supposed to be fun, sexual, excititing--wel God had a differen course of action for me!. The attitude is so important--I am a shrink and it is so easy to help others--but when it comes to moi--forget it! I have turned the corner regarding my expectations of fantasizing about being "the way I was" and dealing with the way I am and doing things ie exercise, relationships etc that I can and believe it or not being around people who support me the way I am--Ive gone through two marriages and now I am seeking a soulmate who believes me and loves me for valid expectations.! well thats a start You have been good for my mental health already!!! Mayo has a 3-week pain rehabilitation center that can be very helpful. It changed my life.
I have feelings for you and my wife has pain bad, and it is awful, I could not take it for sure . She has several procedures to help her pain . A stimulator and it has helped very little and now just recently she had Ablation I have no idea how to spell it however they inserted S small tube into her lower back to a nerve which is supposed to reduce her pain, and it takes 3 to 5 weeks to know and it has only been a couple of weeks . All we can do is hope . Gil
Good luck & God bless!🙏💕👍
Not for everyone, though. I've read the course is 5 to 8 daily for 3 weeks. 5 to 8 would be unbearable for me.
So sorry for your situation. Pray you can find healing.
I have started meditating...recovery has worked for many others. Its no quick or easy fix but I truly believe our bodies are capable of so much more than we know.
Pls consider it/ Google it well so you understand the theory behind it...I had to...in order to believe.
Stay strong/ its hard. Best wishes.
See an ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON. I got my life back by having my hips replaced and then to an orthopedic spine surgeon and had my lower lumbar dealt with. Got my life back after suffering for sooooo many years!
