Yes I suffer from constant headaches. And dizziness dr says is a headache disorder. And anxiety plays a part. Thought it may have been the menopause but I am through that evidentially. I’m 54

Got to take vitamin C and vitamin D.
Speak to HRT nurse Sorry
And on meds which I think are the problem. What meds is anyone on

Hi, @rosieapple. Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Sorry to hear you have constant headaches. That sounds tough.

You mentioned you thought HRT medications could play a part. Which one are you wondering about? How long have you had these headaches?

I have had a 24/7 headache for 6 years and 3 months. I have tried every option the 2 neurologist’s I have seen have. Including an MRI. Acupuncture, physical therapy, Chiropractic, nothing helps. I have seen NDPH articles on the internet, these described my condition perfectly. The 2 doctors I’ve seen had never heard of it. Not very encouraging.

You may has many pieces to the headache puzzle.

I have had number 8 headaches / migraines 24x7 last 4 years.

Puzzle pieces
- Sinus headaches, infections. NeilMed Sinus Rinse to rinse the gunk out of sinuses 2x per day. 6 hour computer gps guided sinus surgery - 2nd ENT said Tricky, 3rd ENT we can help. Sinus Infections lead to antibiotics - which lead to learning about rebuilding Good Gut Health - L-Glutamine – all organs rely on good gut health.
- Tension headaches - tense neck. Neurologist recommended Physical Therapy Dry Needling. It like Acupuncture with low voltage to retrain the muscles – 23 weekly session I went from 28 degree motion left to right to 70 degrees (normal range).
- Migraine with Auras - different prescriptions, triptans, self injection, multiple migraine infusions five, eight different medication via IV – just had 1st Vyepti 100mg Infusion, headaches went from #8 to #4.
- a few more issues

Short answer - Find Headache Specialist in your area-
https://headaches.org/resources/healthcare-provider-finder/
Certifications (providers) – UCNS (750) and AQH (300)
Scroll to bottom of page – Select State – Search (US, US Territory, Canada)

Note: There were more AQH providers in May 2025, guessing they didn’t renew the AQH certification due to requirement – “50 hours CME over last 36 months focusing on headache medicine” – big investment of their time - but may still be listed as UCNS cert.

I'm trying to find “root cause” and not just chase the symptoms with medication. Which has lead me to researching Immunology. I found Dr. Akiko Iwasaki Yale Immunology.
Google "Comparative Analysis of Long COVID and Post-Vaccination Syndrome_ A Cross-Sectional Study of Clinical Symptoms and Machine Learning-Based Differentiation" _ medRxiv 8-14-2025

The post-vaccination syndrome (PVS) describes some of my symptoms.
" Question What are the similarities and differences between long COVID and post-vaccination syndrome (PVS)?
Findings In this cross-sectional study of 682 individuals, machine learning models identified distinct symptoms between long COVID and PVS. Long COVID was characterized by brain fog, altered sense of smell, and shortness of breath, while PVS was associated with burning sensations, neuropathy, and numbness.
Meaning Although long COVID and PVS share overlapping symptoms, they have distinctive symptom profiles, suggesting potentially different underlying biological mechanisms. Understanding these differences can guide clinical diagnosis and targeted management, and inform further research into their distinct immune and biological pathways."

It's a journey, best wishes on your journey!

Hi, @fourleaf - do you have the reference for this study you might post? I believe you may have been saying that some of what you posted about this study on COVID and PVS was from Gemini?
