Slight bleeding from the urethra.
Two years out from RC and still have slight drainage from urethra with slight bleeding at times. Dr said the urethra was closed off and I am on a blood thinner. Anyone have this problem?

I do not have blood but slight fluid regularly. My RC was 2024-11-13. You could request a cytology and/cystoscopy to check for localized recurrence.
Do you mean the blood draw cytology? Thank you for your response. I see the doctor at Stanford in November with labs and CT results. Thank you again.
November is three months from now. Depending on the volume of the discharge I would move it up. Yes: the cytology should show malignancy if any.

Had a radical cystectomy in June of 2023. since September of 2024 have has some bleeding from the urethra. The doctor felt a tumor and needs to do a biopsy. If cancer they need to take the remaining urethra. Anyone had this done? Thank you

Thank you for asking. Not yet, should know something Monday. I may be going to Stanford that is where I had the radical cystectomy done.
