Do you use Cialis or Viagra for penile rehabilitation post-RARP?
When I had my catheter removed the nurse practioner gave me two options: Viagra three times per week or Cialis daily. She said that they offer the two options because if one has bad side effects with one, they switch to the other, but that in terms of outcomes, the two were equivalent.
I chose Viagra, but after doing more research and watching some videos it seems that Cialis is more common and Viagra used as backup if Cialis is not tolerated.
What are/were your experiences with either?

You guys are lucky
Good luck with the pump
The ring is so tight that it wasn’t comfortable for me and small errection
My Urologist OR Oncologist NEVER mentioned a thing on this topic,
which I'm not surprised!
I'll wait until my sildenefil starts to kick in then use the pump for best results . Very good results! Tight? Yes. It helps to keep blood in. I use a cocktail ring as soon as I slide out, then use pump for a few more seconds. (I'll lube up before using the pump.)
Poor results if my sil. doesn't jump start me first.
My husband's doctor prescribed 2.5 mg of Cialis. I am going to ask her why not 5 mg. She didn't volunteer the Cialis, I had researched and asked her if it would be a good idea.
Cialis. It hasn’t done a thing. At age 70, I went from a great pre-surgical sexual response and endurance, to a completely limp-biscuit/wet-noodle post-op.
My urologist said the neurovascular bundles were preserved/intact, but…there are other nerves involved with getting and maintaining an erection.
So, I also beg the question for all of us: “How do we ‘really know’ if our surgeon preserved the neurovascular bundle? Because he said so? There is no test or other means to prove he did vs making a mistake and severing or damaging one or both bundles, or any other nerves.
I am 70 years old and newly divorced, and while I want to date and perhaps get married again, why should I try if I can’t please my new lady and myself sexually? I might as well put on baggy shorts, a flannel shirt, my New Balance shoes, my snap-back Chevy baseball/truckers cap, and go down to the Senior Center to play checkers and board games with the other gents like that.
Oh, and the even more disgusting thing that my urologist never mentioned: in the two times (in 4.5 months), that I managed a semi-erection and orgasm, I ejaculated URINE…lots of it. So, once I hopefully recover and get full erections that will last, I’ll have to wear a condom that will likely fill up and overflow with urine unless I remember to urinate right before a spontaneous (?) love making session. It will be humiliation completely off the charts if I have to tell my lady that I just urinated in her and wet the bed as well. I really regret having the RP surgery. I should have done like my dad and grandfather who lived to 99 years, 10 months, and 96 years, respectively…they both had prostate cancer for ~20 and ~22 years, respectively, never had the RP surgery, and died of other causes.
Along the same lines.... given that Cialis is recommended to repair nerve/surgical damage, how do we even know it's doing any good?
I'm 2 months into a 3-month supply & have no idea if it's helping repair anything.
