Bbeers I had been treated for bronchiectasis for at least 20 years before I was diagnosed with MAC. Two years before I was diagnosed, the radiologist suspected MAC. I didn’t even know what it was then. When I asked pulmonologist about it she just said that we won’t worry about that unless you have symptoms. I think that’s standard protocol. I wouldn’t be concerned about your first doctor not mentioning it.
