My doctors know nothing
There seems to be a general distrust of all doctors. That is sad. No matter how much homework I do, no matter how much I read and study, no matter how many big words I can regurgitate, I am still not a doctor. I can find anything on the Internet to contradict everything my doctors have told me. I choose not to do that. I choose to work with them. We have cancer. Testing for it, treating it, and living with it is going to hurt. There is no avoiding it. But working with and trusting my doctors has significantly reduced my pancreatic NET tumors. My innumerable lesions on my liver have stabilized. 9 months of CAPTEM have made a huge difference. The first few months were hard. The CAPTEM made me so sick. But working with my doctors, we found some support meds that make the treatment tolerable. I am mid cycle, and I am going for a morning walk with my dog. Getting out of bed wasn't possible 9 months ago. I love my doctors.

Very Funny
Along with the meds the pharmacy sent a kit with instruction booklet and some medications for diarrhea, vomiting and dry skin. These aren't problems I'm having though.
What I have is occasional dizziness, shortness of breath, and a couple of recent headaches. The booklet says these are signs of raised blood pressure, and indeed it was higher on my last hospital visit (130/95 instead of previous 120/85). For now it seems they are taking the wait and see approach with that. Meantime I need to get a home test kit.
Good luck tomorrow. Please let me know how it goes. Ok?
Blood pressure home test kit? Did you ever hear anything about the trial? I am curious. Thanks
I have one of the Blood pressure testing things & it will give you a different reading each time but my Dr said not to worry about to much . Also if your reading are only 130/95 your doing ok mine go up to 176 to 182 sometimes LOL
That's quite high. A friend with similar hypertension died suddenly last year. He was 7 years younger than me and seemed in great health aside from that. He called the ambulance for me once when I went hypoglycemic and passed out.
Maybe you should try to relax a little and have some wine? Haha. Your high end is a wee bit high.
Thanks Buddy Yes I think I will do that, Maybe about 2 or 3 Glassier will do the trick LOL
I Had my Pet Scan today and it showed I have more Cancer spots showing up on my Liver but it is still contain in the Live and Pancreatic which in one way is Ok, it just means the Immune treatment has not worked for me, So I think they
may put me back onto Chemo again, but I will find out on the 25/8 when I return to the Hospital and see the Dr there.
And the process continues for you. Good luck with everything Razor. Or do you prefer to be called Mr. Sharp?
