My wife and I (I early 80s, she late 70s), together 50+ years, have had a bit of a mismatch in sex drive for nearly all our marriage. Before kids we were fine. After the first kid was born all her energy went in to that and work. We did OK after the kids were on their own, but after her hysterectomy she lost all interest, says it's painful. I've lost some of my ability too, but still would enjoy more closeness. Sex is now a solo undertaking. Wish it were otherwise.

I feel for all of the above comments, before prostate surgery a year ago , I had sex with my wife 11 yrs younger 2-3 times a week even though once a week would have suited her since her interest has faded after 40 yrs of marriage, at 79 and no sex for a year , I get very depressed, tried pumps and injections , but have no feeling or sensitivity so no orgasams . Wanted an implant but not if I can’t feel anything. The thought of no hope in this department is hard to cope with.
