Persistent nausea
I developed long covid after third episode of Covid in 2023. Longest lasting symptoms include shortness of breath , tachycardia and tremor. This past month I have developed persistent nausea with a “sick” feeling and feeling faint. Fatigue seems worse. Anyone with suggestions?

Has your GI doctor did any type of testing on you?
I've not seen her yet, but making an appointment today.
I’ve had nausea for many many years. I was recently diagnosed with gastroparesis after being hospitalized for being dehydrated and not being able to eat due to nausea for almost three weeks. I had a gastric emptying test done. I was put on reglan but had to stop because of nasty side effects so now I’m back to losing weight and being nauseous and having trouble eating again. Zofran works sometimes. I’m seeing a new GI who is going back to basics to see if he can figure out if Gastroparesis is actually what’s going on. All I know is I have no appetite, am constantly nauseated, and keep losing weight. I went from 144 to 112 and still going down.

3 ReactionsOngoing nausea is one of my most problematic symptoms. I’m taking Prilosec. Symptoms do get better as the day goes on. But I’ve unintentionally lost over 50 pounds. Now doing my best to maintain my weight

1 ReactionI also had gastroparesis for about the first year of Long COVID. It is miserable as the stomach empties very slowly so eventually even the thought of food makes you nauseous. I found eating very small meals throughout the day helped and I used Iberogast to help with the bloating and nausea. I had to restrict all fatty foods as they would take forever to digest...but it was mostly better about 2 years in.

2 ReactionsI'm right there with you. It's been the worst nightmare ever and starting to think it's never ending at this point.
I also get the horrible nausea feeling and super sick to my stomach out to nowhere everyday sometimes following with vomiting.
Zofran has been the best medication out of all o instantly stop it. The dissolvable tablets didn't help at all, the i think it was 8mg tablet helped but took time. Once I was put on the the injections of Zofran to do at home when needed, best thing that could've happened so far. The injections of Zofran instantly stop the feeling of sickness and or vomiting immediately. It's a simple shot you can give yourself in the bicep of your arm and immediate relief. I've noticed for awhile now with LC, when I get the onset sickness to my stomach, I get horrible onset migraine, complete congestion and dizziness at the same time now all at once when it happens. It's the craziest thing ever. I hope you feel better soon.
