Hello @coachwock and welcome to Mayo Connect. I appreciate you sharing your wife's journey with DBS. As it has been several years since Maxine last posted, I will be looking forward to hearing about Kari's progress.

I see that focal dystonia usually causes muscle spasms. Was this your wife's main symptom?

Yes her left foot will and still turns in so we are excited about next week stitches out and end of August the pack turned on.
