My retina are holding up ok. I have portions of my visual field that are spotty due to 4 detachments. These are less of a problem than the floaters. This being said if I stare at something for a few seconds I my brain puts a pretty decent picture together. Over time I have adapted to my visual impairment and can pretty much do what I want to.
