Atherosclerosis can also occur
with little or no calcification.
Inflammation is the newer culprit
in arteriosclerosis.
If you are looking for more details
on your risk consider requesting
a high sensitivity cardiac CRP and
a carotid ultrasound as well.
Assuming you are on statin and CoQ10 the Mediterranean diet is a good focus.
