Does anyone wake up daily at 3am?
I have problems falling sleep. I haven’t able to have good night sleep as fatas I can remember. Went I finally fell sleep I have broken sleep pattern, and I wake up every night at 3am, I do not know why and I cannot fall sleep again, sometimes I go back to sleep at 6am. I do not feel refreshed in the morning. I have black circle under my eyes from the lack of sleep. Also feel irritated, sad, and brain fog/forgetful from lack of sleep. This is terrible. Any one have similar issues. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Does anyone have Restless Leg Sydrome? Or Know anything about it?
Yes
Hi livelivetothefullest, You need to ask your doctor for a sleep medication. Sleep is very very important for our overall health and quality of life. Alot of us need a sleep med/aid and benefit tremendously from taking it! You may have to try a few different ones to find the one that works best for you. But it's definitely worth the quest to find it! Because you're fighting for yourself! An over the counter sleep med is Unisom with ingredient Doxylamine. Make sure it has that ingredient.....because it works great! Also a generic brand if Benadryl also works great. Ingredient is diphenhydramine. Good luck!
Just a gentle caution about taking anything without an expert's agreement or advice:

it may work but is hard on your brain, can cause dementia. Also not good if you have copd. It slows your breathing
gloaming, of course everyone should speak to their doctor about it first. I assumed she or her would do that.
lizjlb, maybe, maybe not. A lack of sleep can cause all kinds of health issues and/or mental issues. That is 100%For Sure!
Hi Elizabeth, I've had RLS for many years. Nobody knows
what causes it, and nobody knows what cures it. Please
tell me your situation...age...severity of RLS...medications,
how long have you had RLS, etc. Feel free to ask questions.
Yes, I've had it for years. Runs in the family. Excellent help with compression socks up to the knee at bedtime. Also, my doctors prescribed gabapentin at bedtime. Helps a lot. Good luck!
Sounds exactly what my problem is! It's very disheartening and is keeping the "quality" out of "Life"
Any suggestions on medications would be greatly appreciated, just don't mention CBT! I'm about to turn to CBD! I am 76 years old and cannot sleep. Haven't even yawned in years.
