Can one stop taking prolia after the first shot?
Hello everyone, my mom is 84 year old and she got osteoporosis since 8 years. She took prolia last October. She started to feel a lot of pain in her legs now. I am thinking she shouldn't take the 2nd shot but I am afraid of the consequences. Did anyone here stop the prolia at an early stage!? If so what happened? Thank you

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm 68. I've done the PT classes. I have nerve damage from chemo in my legs, foot, and hands and learned to do everything slow. I've been very active before cancer and osteoporosis, always working the muscles . I work out daily most weeks.(I like to call it working out instead of Physical therapy!)
You're right, working the muscles helps so much. I can tell if I miss a day.
No arthritis in my knee torn meniscus
I had a hip replacement
Severe Stenosis in l4-l5 some people call it arthritis
Ditto. Can barely walk . Took shot in June. Pain within a month . I couldn’t take any of the oral medication because of my stomach. I’m done with these meds. I have RA too but this is diff. This is not worth the leg pain.
