Looking for post workout recovery drinks or meals

Hi
I'm Greg and I have stage 4 prostate cancer. I am in my first month of ADT. I am a 64 yo vegan (by choice). I have been riding my bike and working out with dumbbells. I am slow to recover after workouts which makes sense based on my age and ADT.

I am looking for a post workout drink or meal that helps with muscle recovery but doesn't aggravate the cancer.

Any ideas?

Yes, but peanuts and peanut butter can be affected by aflatoxins, which are toxins produced by certain molds. Aflatoxins are a concern because they are considered carcinogenic and those molds they live on peanuts.

I found chocolate milk to be surprisingly effective. Soy milk + Hersey's dark chocolate syrup immediately after workout and then followed by a meal.
