I've had this on and off for yrs, syllable thumping like Morse code. I take generic Sudafed (pseudoephedrine HCl) behind pharmacy counter. This usually helps get rid of it for a while, till my inflammation gets bad again.

syllablethumper, I have what sounds like Morse Code in my left ear that would come and go
and then I had hearing loss with it. The right ear had high pitched ringing Tinnitus already with significant hearing loss.

I got hearing aids 1.5 years ago and it has helped with the high pitched ringing and the Morse
Code significantly. I would say, it is at least 90% better and my hearing is so much better.

Hearing aids are an adjustment, but they improve your life significantly.

I have the Oticon brand that fits behind the ear. I did not get these at Costco but I have
heard great things about Costco.
