Non-emergency medical transportation from Casa Grande to Mayo PHX
I've been looking for a transportation service that will come to Casa Grande (or maybe they are here already) and take me to appointments at the Mayo in PHX. We don't have Uber or Lyft in our little town nor does the state have a proper public transportation system. Does anyone have any ideas? This would be a couple times a year at best. I need to go there at the end of September so I have time to find something but so far nobody wants to venture that far. Thx

@azkellyw can you get someone to drive you up to Chandler?
If you can get there you can get transportation.
Casa Grande deserves services especially since the population has grown.
I live on the other side of Phoenix. I would help, but I’m not driving anymore.
Have you tried putting something on a neighborhood app? I have Nextdoor, which only goes for your area. If you post something on there, you might receive a few responses.
Sorry, this reply was intended for Susan but it got attached to you 🙂
I had to give up driving 12 years ago and it's been tollerable getting around but the Mayo is quite some distance from here and you'd think CG was a deserted island in the middle of the ocean on how many services won't come here. I think the population is now around 40,000 and that's not counting Coolidge, Arizona City or Eloy. Even when/if they put in the passenger train from PHX to Tucson they don't even have a stop out this way to let us use it. We have airport trans which I can get to the airport then take Uber but what a long day for a round trip for a 30 minute appointment. I'll figure something out.
Hey Kelly
A friend of mine in Tucson uses MTM to go to Phx. They use different local driving companies (e.g. Yellow Cab is one in Tucson). Here’s the website: https://www.mtm-inc.net/healthcare/nemt/
Hope this helps.
Thanks. Looking around the website I don't have a healthplan that take and I don't see cash prices. I'll have to call to see. I also remembered that the Mayo Clinic has a concierge service desk. I'll call them to see what they know. Have a good day!

@slarson14
Medicare does not pay for medical transportation.
Medicare Advantage does.
I'm not in Chandler, I'm south in Casa Grande. Thanks though
Yes but regular, not MA. It's not covered.
