How about a laugh, (hopefully)
I believe laughter is the best medicine. Laughter has actually been scientifically proven to help people with depression issues.
Let’s give it a try so we can all get happy and feel better. Many Epilepsy forums I’ve been on had joke sections. I was probably the biggest joke of all since I didn’t get a lot of the jokes. They said the jokes couldn’t be above 4th grade level for me to understand them so my jokes may be rather simplistic but let’s give it a try.
Have a lovely day everyone,
Jake

Yeah, I was a doggie daddy, a round-the-clock job.
We had a daily routine of singing this song every evening before I gave her a rawhide treat, which explains her enthusiasm.
Scott,
I love to see what you write and how appreciative you are. You come across as a person who has dealt with alot. That being said. I think you should get the Amazing reward. I present to you now with my hopes you stay around and continue to share. Thank you 🙏👍🫂 🫂
Thank you for your kind words!
I try to remain positive. Also, I constantly remind myself how lucky I am.
Despite being permanently disabled, I have much to be grateful for. An endlessly loving and patient wife; a modest but safe and peaceful home; a few friends; health that could be a lot worse; and a mind that is still pretty much intact.
I figure there's about a billion people on earth who'd trade places with me in a minute -- not to mention all those who never got the chance to live as long or as well as I have.
My sense of humor has sustained me, even from those first days in the hospital. Some examples are in my YouTube channel episode 6:
Of course, I have bad days when I'm a snarly old badger, but I try not to let that get the better of me or use it as an excuse to bring others down.
I believe that even when we're in a rut, we can still be nice to others. That takes very little effort and can really have a positive impact. Just as your comment has done for me!
Thank you! I have watched some of your you tube videos. I feel the same way I am blessed with the knowledge to think quickly. I was taught early on by two parents who really cared for our educations and mostly are well being. I worked in a job that required good communication and skills for the job. As long as my spouse thinks I am perfect..that is ok with me. Being shut up in the house can really be challenging. Caregiving is not for the faint of heart. Keep being you as it is refreshing to see positivity in spite of your journey. 🫂

What did the horse say after it fell down?

I too was in the “magician” fog. The cloud lifted for me.
There’s a guy named Ian. The word magician is two words in one, magic and Ian.
The joke “What do you call a magician who has lost his magic?” Ian. I hope this helps somebody. LOL
Thank you for explaining the "Magic" joke.
I FINALLY get it......a man named Ian!
DUH..............
At my age I don't buy green bananas.
Now that we have artificial intelligence, can we do something about natural stupidity?
I put that question to AI: What can we do about natural stupidity?
AI Answer: I can only tell you if it is YOUR stupidity; and don't try to outsmart me. Do you still want me to?????????? Hello? Hello? Anyone there?
