Maudon, Is you sister-in-law taking new medication as a result of being diagnosed with epilepsy along with MS? Is this dream-like state new for her?
She has been in hospital 14times last year she was unconscious most time doctors thought it was urine infection but than thought it was epilepsy Christmas she was in critical care were they put her on medication for epilepsy after 2weeks she was recovering came home okay for 2weeks than Friday she just went into a dream like state she can speak and understands every think but is very slow and in a type of dream like state for 3 days and sleeping
Have you spoken to her care team about these changes?
Had doctor today no one seems to know what is wrong up her epilepsy drug from 50 to 100
Hello, @maudon, and welcome ! The symptoms you describe (ie dreamlike state) are very much a part of MS for some of us. I suffer this state quite often. Luckily for me it only last a day or two at a time and at times only hours. Please check out this article http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/features/living-with-multiple-sclerosis-it-s-the-hidden-symptoms-of-ms-which-have-the-most-impact-10103094.html I have found in my case and with others I know that this state is directly tied to another symptom of MS, Fatigue. I hope this is helpful and good luck!
