Thank you for your prayers...they're always needed in our lives. It grievess me to hear & see what brother & sister veterans are having to deal with from the VA medical arena. If a veteran is told they cannot be seen by a VA medical person for more than 28 days out then the vA is required to send the veteran to an outside dr, firm or lab regardless. They probably won't tell you that but it is a truism...force the issue with them. You may have to get you PCP to send a messaage to community care to get this done & there's also your state senator who can do so. The VA is notorious for denying & prolonging tests etc for claims issues. I have an atty working a claim for me that the VA has been denying since 2016...he has been successful in getting the claim approved after all these years. He had to send it to an Appellate Judge in DC...to get it approved.

Salute to you for your service!! I'm so sorry that you had to battle the VA for so long to get your claim..I've done quite a few with them.. while my 100% DAV (Vietnam) husband was alive and after he passed.. Shouldn't be so hard!! I am glad they have changed the regs so that Veterans are not trapped in the health care merry go round of hell..I always got my husband's records from the VA as they are notorious for destroying incriminating ones..IDK if they still use the SF95 for grievance..(wrongful death etc..) The one I filed was 9 inches of binder thru my congressional rep's office ..but they rule on themselves).. Then of course I battled for my widow's benefits.. had a back windshield decal (whole back to Nissan Altima) that said'.. his name dob and dod and CASUALITY OF THE VA..and "he was a man ..not a budget line item") I've changed vehicles so it's off now .. he's been gone 14 years.. but every Veteran I see I can help I do.. My Daddy was a WW2 vet..joined at 17.. he got a 60% at about age 90 and passed a month prior to his 99th bd.. he wouldn't go for the 100%.. I really try to get the Veteran to go for the 100% for the spouse..I can't tell you how well my sweet David still takes care of me.. even tho he's gone..all my medical bills!! Been really sick ..all covered..his 365 boots on the ground Lai Khe 68-69 Big Red One Army Infantry.. have taken care of me..God bless you and thank you for your service!!
