I’ve been able to manage the pain with Pilates and a daily mat routine. I’m also hypermobile and struggle with fatigue and doing it all. Finding a studio where I can go 1:1 and modify based on how I feel that day has been crucial. They help me understand where I’m off and I can work on it with stretches and mat work in between sessions. I go when I have migraines and low energy and always feel better after. Also recommend classic yoga studios that focus on meditation and tai chi. That also helps me a lot.

@duvaldena Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! I see that you have been a member for at least a year and now felt comfortable enough to post ! You have certainly developed a movement routine that works for you. Has the Pilates helped your pain?

That is amazing! I am really proud of you! It is super hard to push through Fibro pain, headaches, and fatigue to exercise. I have been told by doctors and read people with Fibro say it really helps. I have become much more active. I am teacher and this summer I started riding an exercise bike. I rod2 4 wks then had the worse flare up I have ever had. I do not think the exercise caused it at all bit have not started back. So, keep it up! You are my hero!!!
