@cjay777
I am relieved to hear you. An almost exact duplicate. Started about 2012 I spend 2 years trying to get into Mayo many many phone calls. And over a year of waiting for their next apt. (3 years) Finally on 2015 they sent me a letter. Sorry not able to offer an appointment. After 3 years of desperation and hope just for an appointment and I get a letter!!!!
To date still seeing one after another after another. We have lost so much of life, opportunities, career, it has cost us almost everything.
Currently, Symptoms are much much worse. The pain and noise is now is simply unbearable. Currently in Houstonfor medical, Same stuff lots of guessing but generally after many CT with and without. Many MRI. With and without
No direction. I wish Mayo had time for me. I have medical insurance.
To this day I am upset with their refusal to help me or even see me. PS. So many doctors. Supposed specialist. Neck, shoulder jaw. Ear. All same generic answers. Short version. Bla. Bla. Bla. Don’t know. Here take some drugs ( I don’t do drugs) go so pain dr( I did several times ) same as others. Want to poke and inject all over the area. Don’t really know where. Then I’m full of the drugs and sick. Miserable
All making lots of money off me. And no real effort to finding what’s wrong
I am not one to give up.
I apologize. This is dragging you in, But. First person I have known same/similar.
Good luck. Let me know if you find help.

@cjay777 I have those same symptoms and fascial work does help me. I also have cervical spine issues and fused C5 C6 with thoracic outlet syndrome. Spasms will cause my vertebrae to move and often they rotate slightly and that causes pain by stretching some attached muscles. If I release the tension in the muscles and fascia it all calms down. My physical therapist does myofascial release which is the technique to loosen the tissue. Please see our discussion on Myofascial Release in the Neuropathy group.
