Does anyone have any experience with MEIBO (PF) drops for dry eyes?
I've tried many suggestions from several ophthalmologists for my dry eyes, which started after Cataract surgery.
My current ophthalmologist at Mayo Clinic has suggested Meibo drops. She sent the Rx to BlinkRX, and with my insurance, it's $627!

Update: apparently my insurance will cover it with me paying $129.00 per month.
Go to Pharmacy checker. Com - write in Miebo- they will give you a list of Canadian pharmacies that sell it with a prescription. It’s all done online and it’s very easy. It comes in the mail in about two weeks. It cost me $155 for 3 bottles— it comes out of Australia.
Great information. Thanks!
Forgot to add - the Meibo from German Amazon (Evotears) is about $24/3 ml bottle. Still way less than paying $129 through American insurance, or $155 from Australia.

My understanding is USA decided it was a drug, but most of the rest of the world decided it was simply an aid for dry eye.
Perhaps, I’m not well informed on meds from other countries, but my concern is quality control in places outside the US. This is especially true for something like an eye drop.
I agree, Celia. I would not buy any medicine out of the country.
I like it, but my insurance quit covering it now. It''s pricey in the U.S. I switched to Restasis and it is going well and covered by Insurance in the U.S.
Meibo and Restasis are two completely different meds - for different purposes with different effects.
Well, I can't afford Miebo after all. Just checked my pharmacy and even with insurance it's over $460.00 per month. Ha!
They did work well, but some does fall out of your eyes every time. oily
