STEAM CLEANERS FOR THOSE OF US WHO HAVE MAC & BRONCHIECTASIS
I have searched the internet for information on this topic. Do any of you know of any factual data that speaks to the safety of using floor steam cleaners and handheld steam cleaners?

Hello @melrosedecosmo, thank you for your post regarding Steam cleaners and those who have MAC.
I would like to invite @katemn to this conversation as she is a very supportive, active, and knowledgable MAC group mentor. Katemn, is this a topic that has been discussed previously, I remember a conversation about air filters, but not steam cleaners. Do you have any insight on this issue?
@melrosedecosmo, is this something you have discussed with your physician, or did your physician warn you about steam cleaners?
Hi Justin, thanks for bringing my post back into the picture. I think it's an important one (obviously ;-), to research. I say this because I use steam cleaners in my home to kill viruses and germs with the goal of minimizing me getting sick. Also, I have eliminated most cleaning chemicals from my cleaning to reduce lung irritations. I made a call to the NTM website education department and had to leave a message. I will call them again on Monday and hopefully get through and will report their feedback.
Justin, have answered best I could on our main MAC thread http://mayocl.in/2iuxtER. Best! Katherine
