Thanks for your reply. When l was prescribed Gabapentin, l was not told that l would have to get off of it too. My question to the Dr was, " Now that l am taking Gabapentin, isn't that just as bad to discontinue?" He said, "No'. I am hoping his answer is correct for me.
Withdrawal won’t be too bad if you take a low dose and don’t take it for more than a few months. Many compare gabapentin withdrawal to benzo withdrawal.

My opinion is you should not stop taking any medication without speaking your doctor first and tell them you want to stop taking the medication. Because everyone reacts to differently to medication and you may not be able to handle a withdrawal without help from a professional Doctor. They will taper you off the medication. Never stop taking a prescribed medication without speaking to your doctor . Side effects can be very serious ,

Thanks for your reply... Now l know exactly what to expect...it isn't going to be a good time...

Go very slowly!!
Take care,
Jake
The average dose for anxiety is 300 mgs. which is considered low. I can see why you had no withdrawal symptoms. That’s a minuscule amount.
