Mac + lung cavity
my 3 centimetre cavity has healed in 16 months with the 3 antibiotics - both shocked and delighted. Preventative medicine doctor assisted my immune system cope - also recommended a vegan diet for last 9 months.

Hello Bearsmom91
Do you know if you sleep with your mouth open at night.
I was waking up with dry mouth for a long time. I started using the 3M paper tape, micropore tape, to place a small piece above and below my lips to keep my mouth shut at night. It works, no more dry mouth.
Thought I'd mention my experience for food for thought.

I was having trouble with dry mouth at night, too—felt like my throat was brittle enough to crack! I started using either Fluticasone, then switched to Flunisolde, and went back to sleeping with my mouth closed. Problem solved. Bothe were prescribed by my doctor, though I believe they are available over-the-counter. Fortunately, I did not have to go to using tape, but would if necessary.

That is an ingenious idea! I wondered if it was possible to be sure that my mouth wasn't open during the night and you proved it can be done! I woke up yesterday needing to drink a sip of water every few minutes even though I was awake. I started to get really depressed about this new development and looked online for ideas. I saw that Biotene is a good choice, called my pharmacist to be sure it wouldn't affect any of my medications and my husband picked some up for me. It worked like a charm. My mouth stayed moist for at least 6 hours and my throat didn't feel dry either. I appreciate the tip you gave me. Keep Biotene on mind in case you have problems with dry mouth in the day time and thank you very much for your reply.
Thank you! I did a little research after posting here and came up with Biotene! My pharmacist said it won't affect any of my meds and I took it about 4:00 pm. At 10 pm my mouth was still moist and my throat didn't feel dry either. Thank you so much for your reply!
