Having had AML myself, I think this is a good compromise by the doctors. This is a risk/reward situation right now as far as starting chemo for AML with the kidney impairment.
Dialysis may help with improving the kidney health enough to be able to start the AML treatment in the future but for now, the kidneys need the attention for sure.
Are you the patient or is it a loved one or friend? Has treatment for stage 4 cervical cancer been completed?

Hi Lori, this is for my mother. Dialysis helped the kidneys a bit. Platelets are low so waiting for review for AML test and options if chemo or immunotherapy can be commenced.
