Hello @frank005, and welcome to Mayo Connect. Your story of sinus problems shows how persistent you have been in finding an answer. I applaud your efforts! I too use Mucinex regularly for congestion, cough, etc. and find it helps. I also use a nasal spray and the saline rinse. I hope that your next appointment with the doctor helps give you some resolution. Chronic sinus problems are a nuisance and are hard to deal with. Please keep us posted as to how you are doing.
