Fat grafting or Botox to relief pain & tightness after treatment?
I had radiation and chemo for SCC on the base of my tongue and a few lymph nodes. Has anyone had fat grafting or Botox injections to relieve pain and tightness? If yes, what are your about the effectiveness of the treatments.

Yes, I was referred to an orthopedic doctor who also uses Botox injections.
Hi Mojo .. thanks for info, and will check with my oncologist and/or the doctor for Late Effects of Radiation Clinic in PMCC.
Yes, I have had it, and it has helped me a lot. Of course it is just temporary and will wear off after about 3 months. I have a lot of scar tissue And stiffness on my neck, and it really helps. I have Medicare which pays for it. If I didn't have it, I would not be able to afford it if I had to pay the price the hospital charges. But what Medicare pays and the hospital accepts is worth it.
There is a pain management department of the winship Cancer institute from Emory Hospital where I go. It's put in muscle using ultrasound guidance.
I will get the Botox every 90 days, but I think the fat grafting will last a long time. I guess I'll verify that next time I see the surgeon.
