I have POTS and was prescribed Midrdine and Fludrocortisone.
My legs felt like spaghetti and I had trouble walking.
I thought I’d soon need assisted living.
I slowly went off each med and my legs are better.

Both are widely used drugs and my reactions are NOT typical.
Check with your doc before changing anything.
I’m on other meds and whether it was a reaction to something else I was taking or just me, you’ll need to discuss a plan with your doc.
Good luck.

My leg issues started after covid, but I’m not sure it’s due to my post covid syndrome. It improves, then I have a relapse.

The only way I knew to even test for Covid last year was that my legs had this weird achiness that I experienced many years ago when I had a virus. Now with Long Covid my legs ache sometimes lightly and often deeply, its the only way I can describe it, mostly quads and hamstrings, sometimes both my whole legs. Occasionally I get quick sharp pains in my quads all since long covid, never before. PEM makes them worse, moist heat and magnesium cream and an herbal cream I found at a local herbal apothecary all help to at least ease the aching at times. I have a difficult time standing for any real length of time. I have to sit to do most things. My legs don't feel weak, they feel deeply achy and fatigued every day. I find it hard to explain it to people who have never had this experience. Anyone else find this to be their experience?

Mine hurt. They have aches almost as I die too much hiking but I didn’t. I’ve been sick yet again. Daughter said it was bronchitis but when someone comes by me with cov I get sick then the legs start up
I’m using the nicotine patch starting today. It is said to get over Long haul Cv. Supposed to take a 7 mg patch and cut them down to 2 mg each and use them for a few weeks. How was the doctors have been having very good results with these people that use too big of a dose get shaky dizzy can’t sleep nervous too tired, tired, nauseous, headache headache But if you start slow, it’s supposed to be good

I have ongoing LC symptoms, however they rotate. Cough, brain fog, balance, fatigue...the other is a muscle ache in both biceps, that come and go. It doesn't matter if I have exercised or not. I use Voltarin cream for relief, especially at night. It's good intant temporary relief for me.
