Has anyone had success with Mirtazapine?

My doctor didn't send the prescription for Temazepam to the pharmacist, so right now, I don't have Temazepam to help me fall asleep. I have to wait until Monday (two days) to pick p the prescription

I had 7.5 Mirtazapine which was prescribed for me when I mentioned that "sometimes" I have anxiety (like everyone) -- not depression. I do not have depression at all.

Should I take Mirtazapine tonight. Will it help with sleep or will there be worse side effects.

I cannot go without a sleeping pill for one night, let alone two nights.

I understand your frustration, our medications are what I call an evil necessity, however my thoughts are getting in touch with the pharmacy where you get your prescriptions filled and tell them what you need, most pharmacy’s will offer you a few til you get your prescription, they would know you so it shouldn’t be a problem, good wishes.
