Instead of traditional enema, try flushing out lower colon with a plain warm water stream (not high pressure).
Let the water stream only go up, not the hose.

Stool softener, Fiber One Bars, apples and lots of water may help. 🙏🏻

I'm a coffee drinker in the morning- definitely helps in that area keeping me regular.

You could try eating a couple of prunes. Works well for me. 🙂

Hang in there. I'm sending positive thoughts that you'll find the right combination for your system.

Walking for a minimum of 15 minutes, and ideally 30 minutes, really keeps things going in the right direction for me.

I need to stay hydrated because I am very physically active. I also drink 12 to 16 ounces of room-temperature water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I then wait a minimum of 30 minutes or longer before eating. That wait time seems long enough for the innards to become hydrated and for things to start moving.

The water routine and walking help keep my pipes clean. I worked my way up to that amount of water, starting with 8 ounces.

However, I've noticed that if I don't walk, the water routine is sometimes less effective. And, sometimes, my body does what I want without the water if I've walked the day before. Overall, walking is the key.

Also, while in chemo treatment, I had a few days of unproductive bathroom moments. I upped my fiber intake. Cabbage, broccoli, and brown rice combos did the trick.

Steel cut oats with cut up fresh apple with skin, along with pecans or walnut pieces works for me.
I use some kind of milk or almond milk, but not much.
