Has anyone damaged their teeth during a seizure?
I recently broke off a section my one of my molars and have no memory of it happening. My dentist told I need crowns for that tooth and the one next to it caused by grinding.
Has anyone experienced breaking a tooth during a seizure or experienced other tooth damage?

Not my teeth yet, but I bitten both sides of my tongue
I'm 41. I've only had 2 seizures where I lost consciousness, the rest of them are focal. Do brain cells grow back? My last one was recent and the first day at a new job I feel a little slow
It was May 22nd. I still feel like I'm missing something.
@ginnjuice - when you say you still feel like you are missing something, will you share more about that? What types of signs, symptoms or other occurrences are you noticing?
I was told two different things about brain cells growing back. It takes about 3 years for brain cells to grow back. I was also told your brain builds "new routes" around the damaged brain area. My answer, based on feedback from 2 neurologists is maybe.
I would love to hear what other people have been told.
I have dental insurance and used my max coverage a few months ago. Everything else needs to wait unless there's no option.
I had my last one may 22nd. The one I had that left me feeling like I'm missing something is the one that came on and just backed off. The back of my head hurts for a week
Those kind of seizures you do not lose consciousness. It's like a part of awareness is gone. I call it slow
Reflexes, awareness. I only had one like that. The rest of them I just wake up in the hospital like what are you doing but it all snaps back
I don't wanna be apart of this chat anymore. I'm having seizures more often. Tonic clonic, photosensitive, focal. Thanks for listening by y'all
