Left ventricle is at 25 percent. How do we make an appt?

My husband, Wayne Helsby is 70 born 1-1-55. He had his prostrate removed 3-27-25 due to cancer. He was given clearance from his Cardiologist. He has had heart issues since 2020 with afib and an ablation. His left Ventrical is currently at 25 percent. He went to the hospital today for the third time since the surgery. He has fluid in his lungs and is having difficulty breathing.
He has a lot of pain in his abdominal area and on his left side. The gastrointestinal Dr can’t do tests until the heart is stronger. We are going round and round to Doctors and no one can tell us what is wrong and a treatment plan. What are the next steps we need to take to make an appointment at the Jacksonville location? Thank you

Hi cardiologist is the one you need to see. Is he medicated for his cardiac concerns and for excess fluid?

Sounds like you need a new Cardiologist . A second or third opinion . There are many options for a failing heart muscle I think you mean his EF fraction is 25% That’s pretty low . Do a little research . A University Hospital is the place you want to look .
