I started IF a week ago. It is easier than I supposed. However I made the mistake of going to the grocery store during my fast. And preparing food to eat ( not eating it) before my fast was over. Two things I won’t do again

It does kind of mess with spontaneity when eating with family and friends. I use the Zero app (free version) which makes it easy to track time for the different timed fasts. In the beginning I mostly used the 18 and 20 hour intermittent fasting and when I got my weight to where I wanted to be I went to the 13, 16 and 18 hour fasts and if my weight started creeping up I switched to the 20 hour fast for a few days.

'Never go to a supermarket when you are hungry'.
many times i've gone shopping for a few items I needed, then left with a full trolley.
