Today I saw the hem/onc at UCLA. I will be having a guided Bone Marrow Biopsy within a few weeks. I won’t be starting HU until after that. My diagnosis at this time still stands as Essential Thrombocythemia with JAK2 b617F allele mutation. I will continue treatment with UCLA.

Thank you for posting about your visit. That is great your new doc decided to get bone marrow biopsy before prescribing for you. I think you said you have CALR, but I am not sure if CALR1 or CALR2. Honestly, I am not sure if knowing which one really matters. It is great to hear your new doc is getting more information before acting. Please post what you find out as you learn more about your case.
