My husband is 74. Diagnosed with WM. Found by accident with regular blood work. He had no symptoms and was under the umbrella of watch and wait. He now is still only being treated with LDN, low dose naltrexone. He has lost his vision during this time and is now legally blind. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Good morning, @foland. It’s not unusual for blood cancers such as WM to be discovered with routine labs. These conditions can develop very slowly over many years. And as long as there’s no symptoms, most aren’t detected earlier.

But oh my goodness, I’m really sorry to read that your husband has lost his eyesight. Did his doctor feel this was a side effect of WM or another condition?
