Trimex Issues

Talk with your urologist who prescribed you the medication. Took me a few attempts to get the formulation correct so I had the correct hardness and no pain. Like with everything related to prostate cancer, it's a long journey. Stay well brother.

Alprostadil, one of the ingredients in Trimix, causes a painful reaction in 20% of men who use it. Increasing the dose only makes it worse. After experiencing the same painful reaction as you have, I am now using a low-alprostadil version of Trimix. The discomfort, though still present, is at a much lower intensity and more tolerable. Another option is Bimix which contains no alprostadil.

Yes , you’re right have heard that about Trimex so Dr. changed my prescription to Bimex which will arrive next week but here’s a question for those with experience, can these shots work if you’re still 6 weeks from my second Lupron shot to wear off , I’d like to think the Dr .would have said wait till Lupron has expired but since he didn’t I assume some of you have experience and success even still being under the effects of Lupron? Look forward to hearing results under these conditions

Lupron has nothing to do with your bimix shot. It will work whether or not you are on Lupron. The difference is that if you are off Lupron, you may have more desire, if your testosterone has risen.

By the way, those shot mixes do not last very long. One previous user posted message about how you should freeze it all the time take it out about 20 minutes before you need to use it and then put it back in the freezer. It lasts much longer that way..

Had a reaction last night at a dose of .20 erection allowed penetration but no feeling at all as if my penis was made of wood , then after it lasted almost 3 hrs in pain with icing and Sudafed went to ER , due to wait just before I was about to be injected I was ok , no more Trimix waiting for Bimix next week

@jeffmarc I had a turp as a young man and wish I would have had sought a 2nd opinion. Anyway, it ruined my sex life and I haven't had sex with my wife for 3 years because I can't get an erection. I have started down the trimix road and the first batch did nothing so he bumped me up to 20/40/2 strength of alprostadil/papaverine/phentolamine)/ml. Of course I am in the 20% who reacts to alprostadil and get aching dick disease (ADD). The stuff is also not working yet. I injected 70 units last night and my unit was pretty full and firm but not pointing the sky so it is hard enough to penetrate my wife's vagina. I am very frustrated and not sure I am going to get there. Anyway, thank you for raising this informaton that i saw on another trimix discussion yesterday. I just asked my Urologist to give me the highest dose of low alprostadil formulation Trimix #12 (10mcg/30mg/4mg) /mL. Do you know if they can go higher like 10/40/8? Maybe bimix would work but who knows. I just want to get hard enough have sex with my wife. I have been so frustrated and embarrassed.

I am not familiar with Trimix formulas because I lost The ability to get an erection 14 years ago and the drugs were not available at that time, or were not offered. If you go a long time without an erection, the tissue deteriorates and eliminates the ability to get one on the future.

@jeffmarc so it has bedn 1-3 since I had a full erection. I tried ED pills, both kinfmds then a compounded m8
Ix and nohing. I honestly thought there was no hope.And was considering a penile impland and pump, and then I heard about Trumix and talked to amy PCP. She sent me to a good urologist and i am working with a PA.doctor and it looks like we might get there. I had reserved myself to fact tbst my fuckinh days were over. We are trying with 2 d batch of trimix and my disk is getting fulket and firm, limt just doesn't get to that point where it's pointing up at the sky and its rock hard so it's strong enough to put it inside my wife's vagina.

Now with the alprpstadil hurting my Johnson. I'm gonna have to try another mix and see if we can get there with that stuff.. hopefully, i'm my p a will mix this stuff as strong as you can get it and not have to f*** around because this stuff's two hundred dollars a pop.And i'm tired of wasting the money and the time. I am gonna be super disappointed if we can't get all the way there because I am so excited about having sex again and I want to make my wife orgasm again.

My apologies for the typist that I missed. Because I reacted to alprostadil and TriMix hasn't worked so far, I have an appointment with the Urologist my prescribing PA works under. I hope he jumps me immediately to bimix or lower dose alprostadil with max of other stuff so I can find out immediately if this stuff is going to work. If not then we explore other options, even surgery is guess. I really want to feel my wife's wet vagina pulsating atound my unit as I bring my wife to multiplre orgasms. I need that, at least once before I die and I have lost two childhood relationships in tbe last 3 weeks because both had massive heart attacks at 55 and 59. Way too young but it happens
