changes in penis appearance

has anyone experienced a lot of thick fleshy penis shaft skin, a wide shaft, and the skin covering the glans, hanging down making it so difficult to stand and urinate ?

It's getting to the point where I have to take my reading glasses with me into the bathroom when I pee.

I have had both radiation and prostatectomy. I am guessing my permanently flaccid penis is about two inches shorter than previously. I am circumcised but my remaining foreskin or shaft skin rolls over my glans so that I now look uncircumcised.

same here, my shaft skin has thickened, and my penis has gotten very wide with all the loose skin hanging down around my glans, I look uncircumcised

Had the same changes occur with ADT treatment for 12 months. Urologist had not forewarned or advised me re the shrinkage, using a pump, or anything else. I learned it all from a local support group and this site. By that time the damage had been done. Am trying to rectify the situation, and so far the testicles seems to be getting back to normal, but not the penis. I will continue to use a pump religiously and hope for the best.
Good thoughts for all!

my penis has gotten shorter along with so much extra shaft skin hanging down covering my glans, so I'm so wide at the glans which makes urinating a trick

When I went to a medical office building last Monday, I could not use the urinal.

My radiation was EBRT. RO never stated rad or ADT as cause. I informed him of the shrinkage and also informed him that during the first month or so of Tx (Tx of radiation and ADT started together) I could feel a negative sensation in my testicles and area at different times throughout Tx. I'm still on ADT and don't necessarily feel the same sensation now. But I am remined every day that my testicles continue to shrink. Docs don't like to talk about this issue with their patients. I have heard from many Zoom or other videos by Urologists/oncologists, that you have to use it or you lose it. Same thing with guys on this site, one should attempt to get an erection regularly to keep the signal going down there.

my testicles shrunk from both the Lupron shot and 8 weeks of radiation, its caused my scrotum to become so long loose and fleshy, and always in the way

There are now a lot of man's underwear lines that have so called "hammock pouch" built in. Maybe that would help with the issue.

I too used to go to nude beaches and felt very comfortable with my naked body. As I've indicated, my negative self-body image (not only genitals) but with the loss of muscle and skin irritations I don't wear shorts or short sleeve shirts in public.
So how do you stay strong during all this? I have good days and some not so much.

I am exactly the same the look of my short wide fleshy penis with the skin hanging long over my glans isn't attractive to most, I don't feel comfortable enough to go back to the nude beach or club pool, and always wear a towel in gym shower, my arm muscles are gone, leaving crepe skin, and wrinkles, its so demeaning and depressing I'm trying to enjoy the look of my genitals ,my wife is supportive, but agrees both penis and scrotum have changed so much

I assume everyone here talking about changes had thier prostate removed? Taking hormone blockers? Please clarify. If removed was it Robotic and nerve sparing? Has anyone seen these drastic changes after Brachy only? Trying to determine my direction with early stage confined to gland cancer. PSA 4.5, 2 of 12 with 1mm very slight 3+3=6 and area of concern having 10mm 3+4=7 with only 70% of core showing abnormal and only 10% of that is a 4 so very early. PSA PET showed no other spread. Having a hard time deciding. Any advice would be appreciated.

I had SBRT and six months of ADT that ended in October 2024 but my T still hasn't recovered so maybe there's still room for improvement. I've noticed doctors like to say "let's wait six more months and see what happens" as it gets you out of their office and they don't have to deal with you for half a year.
