Anyone experience side effects while on Dupixent ?

Hello. I’ve been on Dupixent since March 19th. My asthma and chronic sinusitis have improved but I’m having some pretty significant side effects within 2 days of my injection that start to clear up a few days before the next injection is due. I wasn’t sure if the side effects were from still being on prednisone or if it was the Dupixent but this time with the injection it’s pretty obvious it’s the Dupixent. I’d like to hear what side effects others have had if any from Dupixent. Thanks.

Good to know, thank you. I will be asking to try Fasenra.

I started treatment with Dupixent about 3 months ago. It works so much better for me than Fasenra and Tezspire. The only side effect I have and it happens when I took the previous injections also is injection site reaction. I always have a 2 inch diameter red, swollen, itchy patch of skin at the site. It goes away in about a week.

Glad it is working for you.

Yes! I have a rash in my face, can’t really see but feels rough like sand paper. Also as soon as I get the shot I lose my voice. I have a hard time having a conversation. My doctor said give it time but it’s been 6 months. I don’t feel like the Dupixent’s has helped at all only caused issues. And now I have conjunctivitis in both eyes.

Oh my goodness, I’m sorry you’re having such bad side effects! I’m stopping the Dupixent (I’ve had 5 shots) because of severe hip and knee pain (both sides) that I didn’t have prior to the Dupixent. Also I’ve had 2 UTIs which turned into a nightmare because I’m allergic to so many antibiotics. It did help my asthma and my chronic sinusitis so it’s a shame I can’t continue on it but I can’t take the side effects any longer. I hope you’re able to find an alternative to Dupixent.

Thank you! So sorry for the trouble you are having as well. I hope you find something that works better for you. I see my Doctor Wednesday and I think I am going to stop taking it as well.
