Cardiac Monitoring
Dr wanted me in a program that's 1 hour exercise - with cardiac monitoring and then hour-long lectures. I don't qualify because I haven't had a heart attack - YET. Thanks medicare.
That started me thinking. Mark Cuban has a cut rate prescription company. Anybody aware of a cut rate service providing cardiac monitoring? I see LOTS of products on Google and Amazon to record the data. It seems the real key is not collecting the data, but, rather, interpreting it.
I suffer from asymptomatic PVC's and am concerned that there may be things I do ( or don't do ) during the day that may affect the PVCs.
Anybody have any experience tracking and interpreting cardiac data at other than outrageous hospital (non-medicare) rates?
thanks

Federal law restricts use of medical grade heart monitor equipment to a doctors prescription.
There are other mostly non-constant monitoring you can buy online.
There is the Kardiamobile. You put you fingers on it and use an app on you cell phone to record it. The have different models.
Search "Constant Heart Monitor" on https://www.amazon.com
There are also fitness watches.
Best wishes.
Sorry, Haven't had this problem, Hope Someone else in the Support Group will be able to share.

trying to find supplier who doesn't charge people zillions and medicare nothing.
I really like my wellue ecg. Their interpretation software isn’t perfect, but it is good enough if you learn the basics of reading the strips. Their software, which you need a computer for, counts your PVC and PACs and tells you a bunch of other data.. I use the Livenpace app on my phone to spot check my palpitations when I exercise. I wear a sports bra over the chest strap, otherwise it gives too much artifact. I’ve used it hard for 4 months, so far so good. I attached a pdf from the Livenpace app.

I see a couple of PVC's and your heart rate varies.
Hi,
Did you see Dianne's post of the Wellue monitor?
It seems reasonable. They have different models.

Yup! The strip is V1, basically just above the xiphoid. My p waves are more obvious on lead ll, but I can usually find my sinus beats on V1. My ablation didn’t wipe out my PACs. I think a lot of my PVCs are basically PACs that get conducted down my left bundle because the previous beat left the right bundle in its refractory period.
You can use ecg stickers to reposition the wellue but I’m not a fan of adhesives, and the strap works pretty well.
