Also routinely done in Slovenia. They did the pharmacogentic test before they started me on Camzyos and it showed it was normal so they went ahead with prescribing it, otherwise they wouldn’t have. I was told this has a major impact in how you respond to the treatment.

Just for the record, my cardiologist refused to help me get pharmacogenetic testing. She just kept pushing myectomy. So I went to my family doctor who referred me to the private company that does it. I have since changed cardiologists. I swim daily, walk daily, and have more energy than I had ten years ago.
