Bring up very dark green stuff when brush teeth??
I neb twice a day. Most of the time I bring up light or maybe medium colored sputum. I have colonized pseudomonas (and MAC in remission.) When I brush my teeth I bring up very dark green ?sputum. I originally thought it was sinus drainage but I'm not having any sinus problems. I'm now not sure and wondering if any others experience this. Thanks.

Maybe it’s just the first stuff of the day which tends to be darker. Does it lighten up?
Off topic but I haven’t heard remission used to describe MAC
Just one idea-could it be a different sinus than you usually have symptoms with? I ask because I've had problems with my rt maxillary sinus most of my life and was very familiar with the tooth pain, full feeling, etc. As part of my bronchiectasis and post nasal dripwork up, I had sinus CT and had occluded Lt frontal sinus. I didn't recognize since diffrent symptoms.
Hi scoop. It happens more in the morning but it is after I've been up for awhile--maybe a couple of hours. I would have had coffee, did my morning neb, had breakfast and then brush my teeth. It can happen some with the evening brushing but not as heavy and not as dark.
reneemc. I've seen lots of discussion about remission with MAC. It may be years after negative sputum before it shows up again or hopefully not ever. It is a mystery. I've tested negative for a couple of years but because of pseudomonas, I continue AWC twice a day. We need to be diligent with watching for symptoms and doing airway clearance.
