Mine started out of nowhere back in Dec. on vacation. My mouth was like fire breathing dragon. I could only feel heat it at the back of my throat which led to my mouth being on fire. Then up into my sinus'. Had an upper GI done they found nothing, they took biopsies, all good there. I noticed the symptoms weren't as bad, but could get worse. They tried giving me Mirtzapine, which makes you sleepy, and yeah that was done pretty quick since I couldn't take that with my sleep meds or by itself. Now the only spot that seems to bother me is the middle of my tongue and roof of my mouth. Stomach isn't burning anymore. I haven't changed my diet. I did try to cut out some foods but that didn't work. Took omeprazole for a bit which helped but never really went away. I have an ENT Appt tomorrow. Hoping this lull in the action keeps going away.
