reclast infusion
Had my first reclast infusion in in February. It is now May and since then I have had lower back pain. I haven’t been able to work out at the gym as far as doing leg exercises because it seems to make it worse. I don’t know if this is a side effect or if it’s just something else has anybody had this issue?

I had Reclast infusions for three years with no issues. I'd suggest speaking to the provider who prescribed Reclast to see if your back issues could be related to the infusion. If not, an orthopedic doctor or a neurologist would be a good next step to find out what the problem is. Hope you are able to get answers and relief soon!
I'm a 73 yr old woman who had recast infusion in early Dec. 2024. Except for feeling tired a day after the infusion, I had no other side effects. I also am healthy and don't have any other health issues.
I had my first Reclast infusion June 2024. No side effects. Will have another in June 2026.
A big factor for my no having side effects may have been having the ordering doctor specify a slow rate of infusion to one hour followed by 20 minutes of a saline flush,
Every two years? Is that the normal schedule?
