Hi, I am 66 year old female with a very active lifestyle and have had 3 episodes of 206 heart rate while exercising that was not captured until this week after I bought a Kardia Monitor and I use my apple watch to monitor my heart rate during exercise. I spent two days in the hospital in December and had every test which all turned up negative. So the Electrophysiologist that I am seeing has put me on a low dose of Metoprolol 25mg daily to start for a few months and then have an ablation consultation.
My questions
Has anyone not had an ablation with this and did well with medication and monitoring heart rate?
Did you have a Physical Therapist tailor an exercise program for you?

2 ReactionsI have Afib and AFlutter . A consulted with EP and she referred me to sleep study. What the result is I have severe OSA . I am waiting for a consult with respiratory therapist to talk to about getting a CPAP machine. My Dr treat that before ablation

1 ReactionI also have - had ? severe Aflutter its only been a week since my ablation tried sleep machine could not sleep. then I had 2 ear nose throat Dr. look at my nose first one wanted to cut my nose open like a convertible went with the other one gave me Loc needle shot anesthesia was able to clean an straighten my nose out the same day it took about 3-4 weeks to heal smell again also I can breath a-lot better at night I wanted to know how good or bad my snoring was I tried a Great app snorelab no hookups just set your phone bedside also better since I was at home no sleep lab or wire ups
found out I was not chocking or stop breathing at night anymore.
