Just joined the site and I'm looking to share with others who have had a high calcium score. I found out today that mine is 2960 and I am past being saddened by this. I am 61 and I am totally asymptomatic. Now I feel like a walking time bomb.

DPFraming, Has your doctor suggested any "next steps" to help lower the calcium score?

He put me 4 medications: a BP medication, a statin, a calcium absorption drug, aspirin, and vitamin B2. I am thinking of getting a 2nd opinion for more extensive testing. The main thing he stressed was to lose weight. I have to lose 40 lbs.

@dpframing its always good to get a 2nd opinion . Losing weight will bring down B.P.Cholesterol and make you feel better but if your gut is telling you get a 2nd opinion

I am not getting any responses directed to me -just peripheral posts for someone's else's post. I am going to relist my post so please do not move it to someone else's. And I really didn't want to piggy-back on someone else's problem or to hijack the post. So please, moderator, let it be.

You got it, @dpframing.
