Dr, wants me to stop Metropolol and start new drug called Solitol.

Anyone taking Solitol and what type of experiences with side effects.

I have been taking Sotalol for Afib and SVT for 10 years. Sotalol was much better at controlling the arrythmia and I felt no side effects except for occasional headache and hair loss. It worked very well for 9 years and then the arrythmia started up again and I had an ablation for Afib and a few months later an ablation for the SVT. I think Sotalol of all 3 drugs they can offer is the best with the least amount of side effects.

Hi
Flecainide is a risky anti-arrhymic med
Haven't heard of others.
