Posted by tetemohamed @tetemohamed, Dec 13, 2016

Hello everyone here
I have joined this group, coz my love suffers from Atherosclerosis. It is tough time for us. I need to talk to people who has dealt with Intracranial stenosis
I have a question. He was responding medicine before(70 percent)but after changing his medicine his percentage decreased(last time it was 40%) so he changed his medicine again to the 1st one. We are waiting results frok MRI. I am so worry, is everything gonna be ok?

Hi Tetemohamed, welcome to Connect.
I'm going to bring @caregiver49 and @sue60 into this conversation because they may have some experience to share with you.

I found this clearly written information about Intracranial atherosclerotic disease from the University of Michigan to be helpful http://bit.ly/2h0IEjW. Because Intracranial atherosclerotic disease (ICAD) is a major cause of ischemic stroke, I thought you might also like to wish to watch this video and join the discussion here on Connect

What was the reason that your doctor changed the medicine your partner was taking?

Thank you so much @colleenyoung, they were so understanding ones. I am grateful for your care))
He changed it coz the 1st one(which he keep using now)has to be used once every month, doctor said the 2nd one, u have it once every two month so it was improved one, but it didnt show a good result on him.
We changed the medicine, i hope results will be like before...
